Our Story

Hello, I'm Emily, founder of Orangery Pilates and proud Mum to two wonderful girls, Olivia and Sienna, who inspired me to create Orangery Pilates and follow a new career helping others move well.

Movement has always been a huge part of my life. From competing internationally in equestrian Eventing to becoming a keen triathlete and completing a Half Ironman while living in Australia, I've always enjoyed the physical and mental benefits of an active lifestyle.

After having my daughters, I discovered how transformative Pilates could be. It helped me rebuild strength, restore confidence and return to the activities I loved in a safe and sustainable way. That experience inspired me to leave the corporate world and train as a Pilates instructor so I could help others experience those same benefits.

I chose to complete the Comprehensive Polestar Pilates qualification because I wanted to provide the highest standard of evidence-based teaching, helping people build strength, move with confidence and enjoy an active, healthy life.

Orangery Pilates was created to offer something a little different. Nestled within a beautiful orangery surrounded by the peaceful Hampshire countryside and gardens, the studio provides a calm, private space where clients can step away from everyday life and focus on themselves. With boutique class sizes and personalised teaching, every session is designed to feel welcoming, supportive and tailored to the individual.

My vision is to create more than just a Pilates studio. I want Orangery Pilates to be a welcoming community where people of all ages and abilities can enjoy moving together, build lasting strength and confidence, and take time for themselves in the peaceful surroundings of the orangery. Whether you're taking your very first class, returning after injury, preparing for motherhood or simply looking to move and feel your best, I'd love to be part of your journey.
